Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains every cookie the Future Tech Jobs network sets in your browser, what it is for, and how long it lasts. We use the minimum cookies needed to run the service and only load analytics cookies with your consent.
Where this policy applies
This single Cookie Policy applies to every specialist tech job board operated by Productivv Technologies Limited under the Future Tech Jobs umbrella. The cookie inventory and the way we collect consent are identical across all of them.

How your choice travels between our sites
Cookies are scoped to the domain that set them, so as a guest you'll see the cookie banner once per site in the network — choosing on one tenant doesn't suppress it on another. This is a deliberate design choice to comply with the per-site consent rule under PECR.
Once you sign in, your choice is stored against your account and that becomes the source of truth. From that point on, the same answer applies on every Future Tech Jobs site you log in to and on every new device — we re-write the local cookies to match your stored choice on each sign-in. Update or revoke it any time from your profile or the "🍪 Cookies" button at the bottom of every page.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are strictly necessary to make the site work (e.g. keeping you logged in); others are optional and used to understand usage so we can improve the product.
Essential cookies (always set — no consent required)
These cookies are required to operate the service. Disabling them would break the site.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
future_tech_jobs_session |
Keeps you signed in and remembers session state between pages. The session payload is held server-side; only the cookie identifier is on your device. | Session (expires when you close the browser) | First-party |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Cross-site request forgery protection when submitting forms | Session | First-party |
laravel_cookie_consent / laravel_cookie_consent_declined |
Remembers your cookie preference choice so we don't prompt you again | Up to 20 years | First-party |
ftj_last_auth |
Remembers your preferred sign-in method (magic link, passkey, password, or LinkedIn) so the sign-in screen can take you straight to it on return. Set on the central sign-in domain only. | 1 year | First-party |
ftj_2fa_trust |
Marks this browser as a trusted device so you can skip the second-factor (2FA) challenge on subsequent sign-ins. Encrypted; backed by a server-side record you can revoke from your profile at any time. Only set if you enable 2FA and tick "trust this device". | 30 days from last issue | First-party |
Optional analytics cookies (only set if you accept)
These cookies are loaded only after you click "Accept analytics cookies" on the banner, the post-login prompt, or from the cookie preferences button. Nothing below loads otherwise.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |

How to change your cookie preferences
- On this site: click the "🍪 Cookies" button fixed at the bottom of every page, or open your profile settings. Both let you enable or disable analytics cookies at any time.
- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site (you won't be able to log in, for example).
- Via third-party opt-outs: you can additionally opt out of Google Analytics via their browser add-on.
Do Not Track
We do not currently honour the Do Not Track browser header. The signal has been deprecated by
most major browsers and is no longer a reliable indicator of user intent. Use the cookie banner, the
"🍪 Cookies" button, or your profile settings to
accept or decline analytics cookies — those choices are honoured everywhere.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
If we add or remove a cookie we will update the tables above and the "Updated" date. Material changes are communicated by email to registered users.
